Hi Frank,

Thank you for the packaging work.  However, Debian has already official packages for 120.2.2, including pak64 and pak128.britain [1].  Your package has additional paksets, which would be most welcome.  Please consider working with Debian maintainers to make the extra paksets available through the official package management system.  The simutrans package is "group maintained" by the Debian games team [2].  My advice is to post to their e-mail list and offer to help, they will be glad for your contribution.

Greg

Debian requires openSource. And not all graphicsets are openSource.

And there are other distributions the deb packets use. There the Debian Repo can lead to problems.

The repository is not created on a distribution, but should reach as many Linuxe as possible. And therefore a certain independence is necessary.

Debian has a non-free section.  Maybe this would be appropriate.

If you improve the existing repositories, I think it will be widely used.  The independent distribution is useful in a different way.

This is only my small some idea for increasing popularity of simutrans.  I thank you for your hard work!  It is deeply appreciated by the community!!

Excellent. Can anyone who has installed from this package confirm that it is working?
