Title: The day of rememeberance.
Post by: idan44 on April 18, 2010, 11:42:56 AM
Hello,

Today is a very sad day for the memorial of 22,682 people who died. People who fought in many fights to make sure that Israel will stay alive. People who made the country.
Every year, one day before the independece day of the State of Israel we all stop to remember the great people.

And here are a few short stories and facts :
*The israeli independence day is exactly the day that David Ben-Gurion annouced on the making of the country. On that day exactly All the people and Organizations who fought in Israel had to work together to defeat the armies of 7 countries and 1 palasteniane group. The war ended when the ink flag was ready.

*In 1967 all the countries who had border with Israel attacked the counrty, and yet israel has won the battle and took area of 2 of it's size! You might won't belive it, but all this war took only 6 days!

*Israel fought and keep fighting agaist terrorists who tries to destroy Israel itself and other countries. ( europe and north america mostly. )

And yet, many people got injured and killed...

And on that thing I must say -
יהי זכרם ברוך של חללי מערכות ישראל.

And until today Israel is one of the safest countries and has the highest security technologies.

This topic breaks one of the main forum rules about politics subjects...

Quote- The subject of politics should be taken with care. Part of the reason we have been able to build a friendly community is precisely because we typically set politics aside. There may be room in the future for a section of the forum that would be highly moderated to discuss such topics, but that time has not arrived. Discussion of certain things is tolerated, such as elections in a particular country.

Tip: If you are saying something that might offend others, consider refraining.

- The subject of religion is the least discouraged of these topics. It does seem that there are many who are not at all sensitive to the subject, and it doesn't seem to have come up in the forum very often.

Therefore It must be locked. Please, avoid to post this kind of stuff. For more details, send a private message to any of the board moderators.
