Title: Sheep farms produce sacks of goods when crates are needed
Post by: 1993matias on July 18, 2016, 10:37:26 AM
I am using the newest versions as in the sticky, Simutrans-Ex 112.3 r1135 30 Jun 2014 and pak128Britain-Ex 0.9.1

The sheep farms produce wool in sacks, but there are no convoys able to transport sacks of goods, only crates. Am I missing something here, or is it actually a bug?

Also, how do I show obsolete vehicles in the depots? Or is it just not possible in Experimental?

Thanks!

"Crates" is just the default term used for expressing goods capacity in the game. Anything labelled as piece goods can be transported by piece goods vehicles.

You have to enable allow_buying_obsolete_vehicles in the settings.

Thanks for your help, it's a bit confusing with crates and sacks... I found out my mistake was that my station was four squares away from the sheep farm, while goods only travel three squares, as far as I understand. Now it works:)

In the display options, you can turn on "station coverage" which will help you. :)
