Title: Vehicle-templates
Post by: AvG on July 21, 2013, 01:50:30 PM
There are circulating more than one  road-vehicle-templates.
One is organised like a circle, another one like up/down, left/right.
We should use only one and call that the standard template.

Which one is the most common and/or which one is preferable???

I have moved this to the Standard Pak128.Britain board, as the templates are common between the two versions of the pakset. I must confess, I do not know a great deal about the templates, since I don't use them: I use the automatic rendering scripts. However, those are not correctly aligned for road vehicles (they work for all other sorts of vehicles and other objects) because road vehicles need a different alignment  so as to enable them to pass each other going in opposite directions on a single tile of road.

What we really need is a road vehicle alignment automatic rendering setup.
