Title: Is there an easy way to make dat files from a spreadsheet?

per the title.

I am using OO calc.

I have columns for each value and rows for each object.

sed on a csv file can certainly do the trick.

What is sed? A typo or a program? Sorry for my being ignorant...

Thanks a lot, never heard of it before.

Is there any Windows equivalent? It could also be done programmatically, but it would mean creating a new tool from scratch...
