Title: JATO planes?
Post by: Ters on July 12, 2012, 05:16:23 AM
I have 5 tile long runway, but planes leave the ground at the end of the second. That doesn't look right. Although planes in Simutrans don't really need a longer runway, I'm pretty sure they used the entire runway before. Planes still use the entire runway when landing.

Sorry, forgot the basic facts: r5821, pak64 r919. Seems to affect all planes. Should be reproducible in any game. I just tested with a new map and a different plane.

Do you have an estimate since this behavior occurs?

Probably last two months, but not the last week. I don't have many airports, so it might have gone a long time without me noticing. I also haven't been playing much lately, so I haven't been up to date with trunk for most, if not all, of June.

Update:
It's from after r5776.

I aparently broke this when using kg for loads. Have to investigate.

EDIT: Just using old routines with weight divided by 1000 does not work. Hmm.

EDIT2: Did forget to extend the actual type in vehikel_besch_t -> solved.
