Title: Highway signs
Post by: p123 on August 05, 2012, 08:37:03 AM
When the "modern highway sign" occurs for the vehicle, he turns around and go back. Is there manual how to use highway signs correctly? ???

Hi,

I'm sure what "modern highway sign" is for, since I couldn't find it in pak64. Could you please tell us what pakset you're playing on?

Tip: did you try to click on the sign again to "switch" the side the sign is facing to?

If the vehicle drives up to the sign and turns back, I would guess that the sign was built after the vehicle started driving. Otherwise, the vehicle should not have tried to drive down that road at all. And if I were to make a guess at what the "modern highway sign" is, it would be a minimum speed sign, and the vehicle is just too slow to pass. But this is pretty much a stab in the dark.

Highway signs require a minimum speed of 80 km/h.
If you don't want a speed limit, just use normal one way signs.

And yes, highway signs are a Pak 128 feature I painted and coded a few years ago.

It's either the minimum speed limit, or it's facing the wrong way, one or the other :)
