Hello James
The folder .\air\images contain 4 duplicated files:
A320_ThomsonAirWays.PNG
BAC_111_500_Caledonian.PNG
BAE_146_100_DanAir.PNG
BAE_146_300_JerseyEuropean.PNG
The files to be deleted are those with the PNG written in uppercase.
I compared the file in binary mode with "PNG" with those "png" and, apart from the name, are the same. The files can then be deleted without problems (hopefully).
James, you can delete you because I am leaving for a two week vacation?
Giuseppe
Thank you for spotting that. However, there is an issue here: I use Windows, which does not recognise two otherwise identical filenames with different cases as being actually different, even though it preserves the case. Linux, of course, is case sensitive. The result of that is that, in my local repository, I do not see the duplicate files, although they do appear on Github. I am not quite sure how in those circumstances to delete them. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be most welcome!
PS: Bon voyage - I hope that your vacation involves a trip by one of the aircraft that you have drawn for us...
Hello
It may be that someone with git and linux can solve the problem?
Giuseppe
