I was electrifying one of my line and noticed that the overhead lines did not always become visible. They were indeed built, as I could see the money fly away from every tile, and when using the inspection tool, the information window said the tile was electrified.
When using click-and-drag to build, the overhead lines appear as they should. When building using click-and-click at either end, only the end tile get visible overhead graphics (though I think all got it in one rare occasion). The graphics don't appear when the area is dirtied for some reason either, but if I repeat the build operation, the overhead lines appear, though no construction actually takes place and no money is spent the second time.

I don't think it's a worm. They don't want to give themselves away. It's just a bug.
should be an easy fix.
