Dear SourceForge project admin,
Your project will be featured on the front page of SourceForge.net for the week of January 28, 2013 Projects are chosen based on a variety of considerations, such as recent releases, interesting blog activity, or other related things.
Front page features tend to result in increased traffic to your project page, so you may want to take this opportunity to make sure you have the latest project description, screenshots, and project logo.
Also, since I know that several of you have more than one project, I've listed all the featured projects below (in no particular order - the list is random order on the front page), so that you'll know which one, and who you'll be sharing the page with.
Finally, if you're still running the Classic SourceForge, and haven't upgraded yet, I'm sure you've already received email from me about that, so forgive me bugging you again, but this would be a great time to make that move.
If you'd like to have a guest blog post this week, please let me know. This can be something you've already written on your project blog, or new content, as you prefer. You can contact me at rbowen@sourceforge.net
Thanks for being part of the SourceForge community!
Pokemon Online: I'm trying to make a pokemon online battling system (some others already exist, like pokemon supremacy, shoddy battle) in order to improve my programming skills and I also want to try a few things like making a true online RPG, that'd be fun. http://sourceforge.net/projects/pogeymon-online
Hattrick Organizer: Helper Tool for online-manager Hattrick (www.hattrick.org) Please visit https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/ho1/ or our CHPP forum at Hattrick for more information and support. If you have any bug reports or feature requests, feel free to open a ticket in the tracker (https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/ho1/) http://sourceforge.net/projects/ho1
PNotes: PNotes is light-weight, flexible, skinnable manager of virtual notes on your desktop. It supports multiple languages, individual note's settings, transparency and scheduling. Absolutely portable as well - no traces in registry. http://sourceforge.net/projects/pnotes
Cube 2: Sauerbraten (game engine & FPS): 3D game engine (more powerful redesign of the Cube engine) and FPS game http://sourceforge.net/projects/sauerbraten
Skim PDF Reader and Note-taker for OS X: Read and annotate scientific papers in PDF. Stop printing and start skimming. Skim requires Mac OSX 10.5 or higher. http://sourceforge.net/projects/skim-app
Red Eclipse: A single-player and multi-player first-person ego-shooter, built on Cube Engine 2, which lends itself toward a balanced gameplay, completely at the control of map makers, while maintaining a general theme of agility in a variety of environments. http://sourceforge.net/projects/redeclipse
KDiff3: KDiff3 is a graphical text difference analyzer for up to 3 input files, provides character-by-character analysis and a text merge tool with integrated editor. It can also compare and merge directories. Platform-independant. http://sourceforge.net/projects/kdiff3
Gnucash: Personal and small-business finance manager http://sourceforge.net/projects/gnucash
simutrans: Simutrans is a transport simulation game. Planes, ships, trains, trams, trucks, busses, or monorails are at your disposal. But factories have contracts and passengers will only travel to their own destinations. Many graphic sets (paks) are available. http://sourceforge.net/projects/simutrans
Time for a new release? :)
We still have 2 days.
Wow, that's great! Smile and wear your best shirts, fellas! 8)
That it very cool that simutrans comes on the Frontpage form SourceForge.
It's a great news, we should try to make the most of it in order to gain new players.
Unfourtunately the new website is not finished, especially not for anything but english. Otherwise it could be time for a switch.
This is not critising the old; it is still the best we had so far ... but developing two in parallel is just double work.
heheh... I knew you weren't criticizing the old. Say, I was trying to say I was aware you would like a switch for SF's spotlight. ;)
does not if you was noticed that "simutrans" has no icon

Sorry for double posting, but simutrans may become also be project of the month in march. There is a poll at http://twtpoll.com/ragr0e so any body who has a twitter account can vote there.
