*jamespetts' post about how the game handles the attractions*

Related: Not quite the same question, but why are "monuments" not listed on the Attractions list?  They seem to have completely different data structures... Is there any reason for this?

Wlindley, your post is quite off-topic. It's still about attractions, but not about how the system handles attractions internally. You'd better open an extension request.

Do you want me to split your post and move it to Extension Request board or Simutrans Discussion?

EDIT:

Topic split. Hope he doesn't mind.

*bump*

While messing around with Curiosity Builder, a question came up to my mind.

Why are "monuments" not listed on the Attractions list? :)

They are not added to the attraction list but rather act as normal city buildings internally.

It is left (together with the vehcile list of all vehicle ever present) as an exercise for future programmer to join simutrans development ;)
