Title: Saved game gives error on load.
Post by: Max-Max on May 21, 2013, 03:47:06 PM
I saved a new fresh map generated with 112.x.-private-car-merge, but when I try to load it again I get:

"FATAL ERROR: settings_t::rdwr() - Too many (3072) city roads!"

Do you think this may be connected to the other issue I discovered earlier?
I have the save game file, but it is way over 64kb so I can't attach it here... Let me know if you want me to mail to you.

It would be helpful if you could send me the saved game - thank you.

Wouldn't it be easier just to upload it to http://files.simutrans-germany.com (http://files.simutrans-germany.com)?

I had no idea I could do that :)

You will find it as "Extended-test.sve"

Hmm - do you have extremely long folder names? I have increased the character buffer again. Do you want to try it again (not just loading this game, but saving/loading a whole cycle afresh)?

No, it was saved in the users desktop folder (Windows 7), meaning it is a very common place to save things in.

Windows define MAX_PATH as 260 characters (including zero termination). Simutrans should at minimum use this constant for Windows binaries (I don't know what the limit are for Linux and Mac)...

Sure I can try it out... That game save was just a test anyway...
