I managed to compile the makeobj from the current trunk (6547) and tried to make the pak128.newlandscape with it. When it tried to compile grounds.all it quitted every time. When i tried to make the files separately it failed at ground.SlopeTrans.pak always.

I *think* ground.SlopeTrans.pak is part of my incomplete world limits patch, it should not be there, and should not be necessary for current paks.

Strange, because it gives the error when loading the pak:

ground.SlopeTrans.pak is way older than your patch Markohs, and most certainly an important part of any pak set. Whether you've tampered with it is another matter.
I did not have any problems with the makeobj I built a few days ago when building pak64. Maybe pak128.newlandscape requires a makeobj that has been "tampered with", or otherwise make use of a buggy feature no one else is using yet.
You are right, I got confused by my ground.LightSlope.pak , it has nothing to do.
