Title: [0.9.0] Concorde cannot hit top speed
Post by: ӔO on August 03, 2013, 11:02:48 PM
It tops out at around 1640km/h

I would suggest using negative air resistance values, as the air pressure at higher altitudes, where Concordes fly, are lower and that's where supersonic flight takes place.

Makeobj does not support negative resistance values: indeed, a negative resistance would mean that it acquires power by air resistance, which makes no sense. I have reduced the air resistance from 100 to 45 on my local copy, however, which should have the desired effect.

0 is not the air resistance - it is the rolling resistance. Aircraft do not, of course, have rolling resistance.
