Post by: captain crunch on August 05, 2013, 03:00:47 PM

commit 3a22d4cb5d39c4acb59856ef2a8a24c5abdda865
Author: Markus Pristovsek <prissi@physik.tu-berlin.de>
Date:   Tue Jul 16 23:35:09 2013 +0000

Max-Max: next part of themes support

    git-svn-id: svn://tron.homeunix.org/simutrans/simutrans/trunk@6592 8aca7d54-2c30-db11-9de9-000461428c89

Samples are not played anymore, the game is totally mute.

Checking out simsound.cc from before 2013-07-16 re-enables sample playback.

git checkout 3c5ccf1bc9926bfb386fa6462ec62a264ff64046 simsound.cc

For some reason, sound_play() has been changed so that calculation of volume is more likely (or perhaps doomed) to become 0. I can't see what this change has to do with themes, but prissi committed too little of the theme patch, so maybe he also committed too much of something else.

Update:
While I was taking a look, dwachs fixed it.

Thank you very much! I could not imagine I would be missing the jackhammer sound. ;-)
