I just discovered there is a problem when enlarging the map in version 112.3 lately
How can I solve the problem?
Sorry for my poor English and the following screenshots may help you understand what I'm talking about.
Before enlarging the map

Indeed, this was reported a couple of weeks ago as well, with Experimental. It's a small flaw that seems to crop up during certain expansion stages. Until it's resolved you'll have to just fix it yourself with the public player or treat it as a really straight river/cliff.
Do you know wich map number and dimensions you used?
The problem in experimetnal should not occur in standard, since standard does not scale up the roughness with map size.

This saved game is created several years ago and I've forgotten the map number.
The dimensions are 639,639.
Thank You!
That's the problem then, if you created the map with a previous version of simutrans, the edges were already lowered to water level, when tou expand, simutrans try to keep both parts of the map at the same level, creating a artificial canal where it shoudn't be. If you raise the borders *before* expanding the map, you will get the effect you want.

Actually I've tried it before but the problem is still happening and the sea is ugly after enlarging the map (a long long blue line...). (Some places are fine.)

mmm... I'll have it a look when I have time, it works but could use some improvements indeed. What I had in mind when I modified that code was it just rendering a correct result, not a perfect one, there are lots of things that can happen on this borders.
