Title: Airplanes curiously take off after waypoint
Post by: Václav on October 16, 2014, 11:12:16 AM
One problem with waypoints in airplanes' lines was solved, but else appeared.

Now, landing by planes is still correct - but their taking off is not fully correct when waypoint says what runway has to be used. Airplanes go to the end of runway - and there they (without taking off) appear in sky - one tile back in length of runway.

Should be

where red vertical lines only show shift between end of runway and point where airplanes appear in air after they reach end of runway.

Ah, you must be using the new BTOL (backward-take-off-and-landing) aircraft system that has replaced VTOL and STOL. :)

Don't use waypoints in runways; use them in taxiways instead. If I remember correctly, that kind of effect could be caused by the route calculation that happens when an airplane reaches a waypoint.

Zeno, I use them on taxiways - on the first tile by its crossing with runway.
