Title: Removing Desert on Sea level
Post by: LegendkxTx on November 24, 2014, 12:00:15 PM
When I tried to upgrade my save from 112.3 to 120.0.1, desert eventually appeared on the sea level and I couldn't solve the problem even though I edited the desert level to -1.
How can I solve this? Thanks.

Strange. This seems like the exact opposite of http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=14138.0

This is intentional - you can use the climate edit tools to manually change climates of individual tiles or groups of tiles.

It is not only desert. It is any flat terrain on sea level.

And by the way, I think that removing of (on only) flat land on shore could be done with tool of large lowering of terrain (it means tool that makes hollow between four tiles) - if it could be used on edge of terrain.

And also, automatic removing of flat land on shore causes problems with building of water canals and canal seaport - because in one tile narrow natural (even if manually created) canal cannot be built shore piers - because ships have not place where to stay.
