I just reinstalled simutrans to get the new update and I had my saves (.sve files) on a USB. I could not find the save file sence the update. Does anyone know how or where to find it?
Simutrans by default looks for save games in the simutrans subdirectory of the home directory (Linux, perhaps a few others as well) or the Documents folder (Windows). Alternatively, Simutrans can be installed so that it will look for save games in the installation directory, which only makes sense if Simutrans isn't installed according to OS guidelines (those places require special permissions that should only be present when installing, not when playing the game).
