Title: No route counts mail's no route
Post by: RESTRICTED ACCOUNT on January 15, 2019, 04:25:24 PM
Oh my pig, Ranran notices that. (´・ω・`)
Stop information dialog says "Passengers", but if mail service is enable, it will count mail's "no route". It is a FAKE, isn't it?
Try attaching the post to an excellent bus stop that does not record "no route" for a long time, then "No route" will increase sharply.
However it will never count the happiness of the mail ever. :::)

Thank you for pointing this out: Iwill have to look into this when I hae a moment.
I wonder whether there might be some use in recording mail as well as passenger statistics at mail enabled stops, and, if so, what those mail statistics should be?

Yes, I think that information is useful if it is alone (and the successful count is enable). The point is that it gets confused when it comes together.

One of my ideas is like this design. (The mail data is still dummy :P)

EDIT:

Does this mean unhappiness of mail, for example, that it could not be delivered within the time limit?

Thank you for this: this is most helpful. I do like this design: it seems quite clear (although I wonder whether a tick should replace the happy face, since mail, unlike passengers, has no feelings and cannot be happy or unhappy: merely delivered or undelivered).

As to mail statistics, one possibility is to record for mail: sent, no route and turned away (mail capacity exceeded).

I believe that this issue was solved by this patch (https://forum.simutrans.com/index.php/topic,18703.0.html).
