Hello. I want to ask an error on makeobj-experimental. I don't know my subject is appropriate for this board so let me know if it isn't.
I ported a flower package (http://japanese.simutrans.com/index.php?Addon128Japan%2FOthers#etc (http://japanese.simutrans.com/index.php?Addon128Japan%2FOthers#etc)) to Simutrans-extended as the package is not intended for it. I executed the following command:
makeobj pak flower.pak .\flower\flower.dat
and I fronted the following error:
Warning: while loading PNG: flower_garden_1.png: No such file or directory
ERROR: image_writer_t: cannot open flower_garden_1.png
The problem is I acutally had a png file. I changed and checked the name of image files several times but the issue is not solved.
As a test, I tried to make a pak file from a city building data in Britain128, and it also failed. I guessed there might be a permission issue on files, but I have no idea how to proceed it.
I am working on Windows 10 (educational, 64bit) and the link at the last line is the flower data I have used. The creator of the original data allowed any modification and upload, so I think linking it has no copyright issue.
Thanks for any help.

Hi midoritetori!
It is good to meet you. :)
I am able to compile the flower package using the following command:
makeobj-extended pak128 flower
I think that the makeobj-extended.exe needs to be in the same directory as the .dat file and images.
I have not tested it in-game as my PC is busy with something else, but you can download the .pak file (https://app.box.com/s/el32hvd9k72eo8wc0rmiax2m5nrpxhok).
Hope that helps.
P.S.: makeobj-extended for Windows is here: http://bridgewater-brunel.me.uk/downloads/Makeobj-Extended.exe (http://bridgewater-brunel.me.uk/downloads/Makeobj-Extended.exe).
Hello, Matthew. Thanks for your suggestion. It works.
I think I have misunderstood how to use makeobj.
Have a nice day!
Hi midoritetori,
I am glad to help. Enjoy smelling the flowers next to your railway!
Matthew
