Title: Fatal Error on upgrade to 121.0
Post by: Wuz314159 on December 06, 2019, 04:29:49 PM
I just upgraded to 121.0 and now I get a fatal error at launch.
FATAL ERROR: loadsave_t;;rdwr_xml_number() - expected "<i8>", got ""  Aborting program execution.....

No idea what that means.

Please delete "settings.xml", then you will be able to execute the new version.

settings.xml is not the problem. Newer versions actually have no problem with older settings.xml.

Rather the automatically saved maps when quitting and starting Simutrans should be a problem.

With me works 121.0 under Windows so far without problems.

Thanks.
I wasn't sure what the line item was for the save file, so I did just delete Settings.xml and that did fix the problem.
Maybe I'll do a deeper dive into the settings when I have time on Monday.
Thanks again!
