Title: There is a bug in the music player
Post by: Yona-TYT on February 17, 2024, 01:36:05 AM

About 5 months ago (maybe more) I was listening to simutrans music after several hours when I was using the buttons to change tracks for some reason simutrans stopped working, I had not started gdb so I was not prepared to report the error. So I started trying to reply, but I tried for hours and in the end I gave up.

A couple of days ago I wanted to listen to the simutrans playlist again and basically the same thing happened again, after a few hours of playing while changing the tracks, simutras failed again and again I was not prepared with gdb.

At the time of writing this I have not yet been able to replicate the error with simutrans started with gdb, therefore I would like more people to join the hunt for this bug.

That could be also be a bug within fluidsynth, like running out of handles or not freeing allocated samples or similar.
