Hi everybody,
The current server 'NeXt Flavor of Pie' (https://servers.simutrans.org/list#pak64) is open to everyone and it's a nice map with some frequent players already.
Next to the regular towns and industry, since two weeks now, it features a never-seen-before twin mega-city, Remus & Romulus, with a combined population of 240'000 citizens!
(current map population 1,1mio)
Remus & Romulus is thought to be served in a cooperative way, so anybody can just dig-in right away and build up dense passenger and mail transportation :)
Now this map not only offers this first-time "giga-pol", but also a new way of transportation at all!
Introducing the brand new 'pneumatic tube' transporting system!
It is developed for high-speed urban mail delivery and also most efficient waste collection. Read more about it in it's corresponding post (https://forum.simutrans.com/index.php/topic,23657.0.html) from it's creator.
Apart from the prementioned novelties, the server also incudes a selection of the recently created vehicles, introduced in the "More pak64 vehicles" (https://forum.simutrans.com/index.php/topic,23635.0.html) post from July.
-> To join the server you only need to download this zipped pak-file (https://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?action=dlattach;attach=34930) below and follow the included instructions.
Let's explore together the new pak64 flavor =)

Why not use server_motd_filename (https://simutrans-germany.com/wiki/wiki/de_simuconf_tab_network?page_ref_id=1754#server_motd_filename) for the information instead of writing everything using markers.
If singleuser=1, the file must be located in the program folder.
Otherwise, it must be located in the Simutrans document folder.
the twin mega-city Remus & Romulus sounds incredible—220,000 citizens! Really excited to hop in and help build a dense transport network there.
Finally, also the FCC fleet (https://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?msg=210922) has been uploaded to the map and can be tested as much as you like =)
Also check out the new "U-Bahn" entrance (https://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?msg=211052) for underground stations!
