I would like to know if this info is right (from
simutrans-tips.com (http://www.simutrans-tips.com/tips/index.php?details=18#anker))
QuoteTrains can have two front engines
You can buy a train with two front engines in the following way:
1. Buy the first engine
2. Buy a second engine (it will be displayed in the engines area)
3. Click on the second engine
4. Buy some waggons
Notes:
- The power of the engines is summed up
- The max speed is taken from the first engine
I've tested it and it only works if the engine model has no constraints. Indeed, you can have as many front engines as the game lets you. What I don't know it's if the power of engines is summed up as it says, because I don't know where's that info or how to get it inside the game. Any idea?
The power is summed up of course, otherwise multiple units would be really useless.
And the maximum speed is taken from the slowest vehicle in the convoi in the current version.
Well, the vehcile detail info shows the total power available. (And multiple consists, motor cars etc. are already available for a very long time ... )

Well, the vehcile detail info shows the total power available.
This is the nominal power before application of the gear factor, to be exact. I suggest that the effective power be shown, too.
