I am a new member here, and a complete newbie to the game, and am having some troublesome issues getting everything started. I downloaded the version of the game with the pak64 (Windows), and the game played fine for a game or two. However, I saw the pak128, and wanting higher resolution I downloaded it and attempted to play. Then I received this message:

Since I had the option to use either pak64 or pak128, I went back to pak64 knowing it would work. I was wrong, the same message appeared. I completely deleted Simutran, then reinstalled with a fresh download, even though I deleted everything associated with the program, the error message still comes up.
It looks like a great game to play, but this error is frustrating me to the point of giving up completely.

Did you delete the ..\My Documents\Simutrans Folder that contains your Maps, Saves, and Settings as well as ..\Simutrans Folder that contains the program and graphic sets when you went for a clean install?
Did you include any extra add-ons after the content of Pak 64 or Pak 128?
I'm assuming you're using Simutrans Version 102.0

Yes, and I removed them as well. After the first attempt I never tried to use anything other than the Pak 64.

Could you try the newest nightly?
As I understand you, the error occurs while creating a new world. Can you post the settings of your New-World dialogue?
