Is it possible to create a formula so the amount of money is increased according to map size, industry growth, beginner mode, city sizes etc.?
This could also be disabled, if people prefer default money for a challenging game. - One could disable what items effect starting cash, so it could be that one simply has an increase of money according to the map size.

Alternatively, could there be a box on the new game menu for people to increase the money as they wish. - Could there also possibly be a sandbox option? -

The is an option to increase starting money. Look in the new settings dialogue ...
