I just got an account here to report a bug, and I have to say, the security settings on this forum are appropriate for a bank. I don't think it's a real big target for crackers, so I'd encourage whomever has the power to relax the security a bit, both length of pw and variety requirement.
We found that lower settings let too many spam bots through. Although it seems silly, the password settings keep a good number of bots out.
Exactly. I apologize that it must be this way, but even as it is, we have spammers that manage to sign up every day or two or so.
