Title: r3179 and following: Ships cannot travel from water canal to sea
Post by: Mac_#71 on May 30, 2010, 03:06:33 PM
Hi guys, I have a problem:
when I try to send a ship through a water canal from the sea it behaviours as there is no channel, and it shows me the message "XX can't find a route"
the canal and the sea are connected, and there are no interruptions in the canal.
It happens with every pak set, so I think it's a binary problem.

Save & reload after building the canal should help.

Edit: even rotating the map cures this.

It is a bug though.

Edit2: Fixed in 3393.

Dwachs, are you sure with number 3393? On nightly pages I see 3373 as latest number. And I think that some time will be taken before number 3393 will be brought to the life.

Hmm, that's interesting. I had a similar problem recently in Experimental, although I think that that was specific to Experimental code...

@Vaclav: yes, I am sure. Please recheck the nightly page.

OK - I have already done it - today. But yesterday when I called it...

But why so great jump in number? And why number 3373 was locked for downloading?

A lot of code cleanup is done lately.

And in 3372 some serious bugs were introduced. As of now, the window system behaves buggy sometimes.
