Is there a way to remove only trees and not other things in the tile? My issue is that I have all these bridges with understructure, and while initially bare, trees eventually start growing up in those squares and grow through the track which looks really dumb (yes, aesthetic only I know). When I bulldoze them, it removes the understructure as well so the bridge looks unsupported (again, just aesthetic). Thanks
Rather indirect, but perhaps you could build a cheap way on these tiles and remove with way remover?
Yeah, that works well (so long as I can build a road on the terrain). Thanks!
Trees should not grow over the track anyway ... seems like a check is msissing there. Which version do you use?

I suppose that he means trees growing below a bridge and when the trees are tall they will grow higher than the bridge itself is, so you see their top coming through the track-lane on the bridge - the same happens with large buildings when you use bridges or elevated ways in a town; the cars or trains go through the houses or trees, at least visually ;)
You can remove all trees from a map but removing all tree.xxx.pak for the pak file directory. Load once then save and put the trees back. => a treeless map.
Paco is right. I have trees that are below the track and visually grow up through the bridges. I like having some trees, just not ones that pierce the tracks.
If you want the trees to never grow again bellow the bridges, I created a NoTree way, just build it bellow your bridge. It's available as an road, so go to ROAD TOOLS to build. It have no cost, no maintenance and it's invisible, so you probably won't find it so easy if you build it somewhere. There's one bug: cityroads, or any other type of road connects with it.
Available for paks: 32, 48, 96, 128, 192. Just choose the correct one.
Or use the fence, also available for several paks
