Title: [r4277, but also seen in 102.2.2] Maximising simutrans in Linux with Compiz
Post by: mjhn on February 11, 2011, 08:55:51 PM
Running Simutrans in Ubuntu 10.10 with desktop effects on (i.e. with Compiz running).
If the Simutrans window is maximised, or the window is manually set to fill the desktop the UI becomes unresponsive.
Specifically, the responses to click are slow and sometimes repeated, and there is no response to holding the mouse buttons.
If simutrans has been run from a console this message is repeated on the console on a regular basis (ranging from once every two second to too fast to keep up with)
expose: x=1354, y=683
textur_resize()::screen=0xab3a9e08

Any other window size (including larger than the desktop), the message is only show at the change of window size and no problems are seen. There are also no problem if visual effect are turned off, and so Compiz is not running.
