i noticed the class 313 retires at 1991
CHANGE: Class 313 EMU now retires in 1991
the current class 313 is not retired in real life - its still in service but not known when entire class is retired - see this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_313 - the southern and first captial connect are still using them - only london overground 313 is withdrawn from service and not assigned so far but the class 508 and class 507 and 315 and class 314 are still in use but 507 and 508 are later series
RSDWorker,
there may be some confusion here about what a "retirement" date is in current versions of Simutrans and Simutrans-Experimental. The retirement date is not the date after which the unit becomes obsolete: the retirement date is the date after which the unit is no longer manufactured. The date of 1991 is plausible enough given the introduction that year of the newer generation "Networkers".
jamespotts - i think retirement is confusing - maybe we could say no longer manufactured means the stock can't be bought anymore from depot
In the default English translation, the phrase used is "Available until:".
