As the title says -- 9.4 appears to crash when the distance-per-tile value is altered via the settings menu.
This occurred when attempting to change the value in a game created in 9.3. It did not occur when I started a new game in 9.4 and changed the setting. However, it still occurred when I saved the 9.3 game in a 9.4 format, reloaded that 9.4 file, and then attempted to change the value.
This may be related to a more detailed report which I'm about to post regarding the new deceleration behaviour.
I can't reproduce this in 9.4 or 9.5, I'm afraid, although please note that changes to this setting will not take effect until the game is saved and reloaded.
This crash appears not to occur in 9.5.
