Title: Speed bonus issue (time line on)
Post by: Milko on April 14, 2011, 04:34:59 PM
Hello

I do not know if it's my fault, but I think in the view of the speed bonus there is an error.

I enclose a table of goods using timeline off and one using timeline on = 1990, with the timeline on the speed values shown do not appear to be consistent.

This is not a bug - the speed bonus is designed to change over time. Obviously, if there is no timeline, it can't do that, so it has to remain static.

Hello James

The problem I wanted to raise: 1990, time line = on, speed bonus = 0; the speed of air, road, train, and most of all the other convoy is equal to 130km/h, with time line = off speeds between different types of convoy are very different from each other.

Applying the time line speeds of different convoy are equal, I do not think is correct  ???

Ahh, that would be because the default speed bonus values (which are used when the timeline is turned off) are different for different modes for transport, whereas the Pak128.Britain-Ex speed bonus values (which are only used when the timeline is on) are not different for different modes of transport (other than sea), as I don't think that it makes sense for them to be different.
