Title: Train only filling 1 out of 3?
Post by: 12padams on April 25, 2011, 12:41:12 AM
Am am using Simutrans 110.0.1 r4359 with pak 64..

I am very new to this game... I tried it in 2007 but absolutely failed to understand it... Then I tried again now...

Basically its 1850 and I set up a locomotive with 3 cargo's added to the back of it. The train takes wood from the plantation to the workshop but the problem is its only ever filling 1 out of the 3 cargo's available... (9t) out of the (27t) available... WHY!!!

Heres a screenshot to demonstrate what I mean.

Also how is money calculated when I bring the cargo... do they pay per tun?

Simple, your station is too small, each train wagon is half a tile, that means your train have 2 tiles long.
3 wood wagons + 1 train engine.
That's not a rule, but almost.

You can check how long your station needs to be when buying the train, on depot dialog just below the train image you can see (station tiles: 2), that means your station must be 2 tiles long.

We have a wiki (http://wiki.simutrans-germany.com/) for Simutrans, you can check out some help.
