Title: Cannot construct underground rail in multiplayer

Am finding in multiplayer that I can't build rail lines underground as I can in single player. The only underground rail line construction I have been able to do is build a default straight line tunnel. Am I doing something wrong or is this functionality not operable in multiplayer?

There is no preview for underground ways in online mode (ie click-and-drag). But you should be able to build straight underground ways (by two clicks).

Are there any plans to add click and drag for underground ways and elevated ways in multiplayer mode? It makes a truly enormous difference to usability.

Might I suggest, in that case, that such a feature be implemented? It really does help a great deal to be able to use click and drag mode.

Could this feature have been deliberately omitted because of the potential conflict if two players tried to build in the same place at the same time?

Yes exactly. Tunnel/elevated way tiles would collide with preview tiles -> building fails on the client that has preview image tiles on places, where tunnel/elevated way should be constructed.
