Title: SE10: Error while loading pak64.german and pak.german-exp
Post by: mopoona on September 18, 2011, 12:39:30 PM
When I try to load the Simutrans Standard pak.german or the experimental verion I get the following error message:

FATAL ERROR:
planquadrat_t::rdwr()
Error while loading game:
Unknown ground type '0'
PRESS ANY KEY

I think this has to do with the map that gets loaded after loading. Both paks loaded without any error in the previous version (9.12) of Simutrans Experimental. Any ideas?

Hmm - I'm not quite sure why the demo.sve doesn't work. Thank you for the report. Debugging saved game issues can be very tricky; might I suggest that you load the demo.sve in 9.12 for now, and re-save it with an earlier version number, which should then load without difficulty? As a workaround, you could just delete demo.sve, although that would disable the demonstration map.

I've tried the purposed word-around. My other saves seem to work, only the demo.sve doesn't. Thanks for your help.
