Guys, tell me pls how in simutrans-standard (pak128) to reserve a one tile, that there is not built city roads and houses?
Now I use for this railroad tracks, but it is ugly. :-[

And is it possible to prevent the city to replace my houses, that I built at the company's money.
The "buy land tool" i.e. adding a marker, should do this.

Tnx for answer, but if I use this button ("house kaufen"), the following message: "This piece of land owned by another player." And markers also seem not very attractive when they are many:

So I would like to suggest that if bought land without buildings would be highlighted in any way - for example like if
show stations range is used.
Draw a monorail with cost 0 and maintenance zero with a system_type 255 with transparent images. (Or a contruction sign, you can find it in the open SVN.)
If I remember correctly, there are some fancy placeholder add-ons somewhere.
