The first is that I can't access the pak64 files because of permissions once I unzip.
Second is in pak128. In previous versions you can mouse over the ways, stations, etc and get the info about them. Doesn't show up in this version. Wasn't sure if that is on purpose or not

And speaking about pak128... I'm not sure I understand the problem... at least I do not seem to be able to recreate it - at least I don't see any difference to previous versions at first glance.
Well....I'm thoroughly embarrassed...Neither of those things were problems. The first was fixed by messing with the folder, the other fixed itself once I reopened simutrans. Sorry for the trouble

I've noticed this too, when unzipping on Linux or OSX the unzipped files and folders lack any of the permission bits. You have to do a chmod -R +Xr on the unzipped pak folder to fix it.
For OSX just right click the folder and go down to permissions. You can change it yourself to read and write. That's how I fixed it
