Title: Questions from a begginer
Post by: Arthropode on March 04, 2012, 05:51:18 AM
Hello,

I started to play simutrans few times ago, and with the help of this forum, I think I know now the basis of the game.
But could you give me more precision about some point :
- Is it possible to play without money or with an infinite amount of money ? I would play sometimes just to create a good network, but I am in bank-rout
- And it is possible to create sloop with the tunnel to create an underground on several level ?

It's all for now, but I think I will find new questions while I'm playing

You'll want to add "-freeplay" to the command line. Are you Widnows or Linux? If Windows, make a shortcut to simutrans.exe and add "-freeplay" outside the quotes to the shortcut target. I play freeplay exclusively. :)

To create slopes in tunnels - I think you can still only go down. In sliced mode, use the terrain modification tools on the end of a road or track to push it down (i.e. the tool that pushes a single tile down, not the up/down normal tools that you click on the corners of a tile)

Welcome! Hope you enjoy the game. :)

for changing heights of tunnels, try the stuff in here: http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=3716.0

to play without bankruptcy,  you can also do it through: Menu options > players > freeplay mode, which is the icon at the top left corner.
