Wandering around YouTube, I came along this video about a supposed 3D version of OpenTTD:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=668-USF1uZ8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=668-USF1uZ8)
Does it exist or is it a fake? I ask because I also found this one:

Both videos had to be created somehow...?
The first version is ugly enough to be credible (IMHO :D ).
The other seems to be some spin-off of the graphics project. I think they work 100% from renders, someone probably mashed together the objects and scripted a bit of action. Notice that not much moves, except for the plane and train.

This is an old version for some game console (playstation ?). I did not know about the second one.
The second one looks really great.

It's fake. The video description says it was made with Cinema4D. Not that it was meant to fake something; there are lots of videos around showing how some fancier or impossible features would turn out if they were implemented in the actual game. Other videos are just parodies of famous games.
Since Minecraft is very popular (including in German Simutrans Forum ;) ) and very Simutrans friendly, let me show a sample:

I looks very good! :)
