Here is a small challenge using simutrans experimental and pak128britain ex 0.8.4.
Objective:
- Keep the north (or south, if desired) railroad crossing gates closed, or as best as you can, using trains.
- The winner will be the person who uses the least amount of convoys to keep the gates closed.
Rules:
- Any train combination may be used, but they must fit inside the platforms, which are 10 tiles long.
- Track layout may not be changed and tracks may not be upgraded or downgraded to any other track, other than improved concrete sleeper.
- Signal spacing and direction may be changed as desired
- Any type of Electrification is allowed
- Depot may be replaced as desired
- You may not allow trains to get stuck
Hint:
- Play around with convoy spacing and shifts feature
- All trains head in the same direction
- Turn on convoy tips in display options
- Have fun!
