In the save linked below, watch convoy no. 16. At Fleckesmouth Road station, it will be routed to an alternative platform. After stopping, it will depart without reserving a route through the station approach.

Thank you for the report. The issue appears to have been that signals were in some cases incorrectly marked as protecting no junctions when they were at the end of platforms. I believe that I have now fixed the underlying issue, but signals incorrectly marked as protecting no junctions will retain this datum, and thus this issue will require a rebuild of affected signals to fix fully.
I should be grateful if you could re-test with the latest nightly build.
