Do passengers/goods route between stops of different companies?
Example:
London & Birmingham Railway has rail stops in London and Birmingham.
Channel Ferry Company has a passenger harbour at a different place in London, and in Rotterdam.
Will passengers travel from Birmingham to Rotterdam, walking between the London stops of the two companies?
I'm sure this has been asked before in this forum, but the search words are all rather common.

Yes. Passenger/goods route planning doesn't care who actually runs each leg of a journey, and allows for walking transfers between stops en-route. (In the latter point it differs from Standard.)

That's really very clever. Thank you for your explanation.
