Title: removing non-navigable river is free, building city road is free
Post by: steffen on May 07, 2010, 09:27:12 PM
Hi,
Just a couple of small bugs (if they even are bugs) i noticed. Removing a river is completely free, I think it should cost at least 1k like raise/lower terrain, maybe even 5k like the other forms of terrain change, since its a pretty substantial engineering effort.
Also building city roads is free even though according to the toolbar it should cost 30.
This is with the latest 32bit experimental for Linux.

Cheers,
Steffen

a cityroad tool should be added in the road toolbar.

It is in the toolbar and I can build it but it doesn't cost me any money to do so. At least not when the game is paused.

Steffen,

thank you for your feedback. The issues that you raise are not specific to Simutrans-Experimental, however: this works in exactly the same way in Simutrans-Standard.

This was indeed a bug, which is now fixed. Also AIs sometimes 'exploit' this.

Which pak has free river removal? Usually the price of the river should be charged.
