Map of Russia, fictional and large.

I grew tired of the random maps and not being satisfied with the size of the maps on the maps website, I tried making, or remaking, a map of Russia.

Slightly comical looking, doesn't include everything, but all of it is done on purpose. There are gigantic mountains as obstacles between a few sections of vast plains cut off by rivers. You have to turn on rivers to get rivers, obviously.

There might be a few stray pixels, but it should be good for the most part.

water level: -2
height levels: -1 to 8
Recommended: river count 1024, max river length 1024

I think this is in the wrong section.. Perhaps it ought to be moved to a different section, i.e Simutrans Discussion or Documentation. But of course, that's a mod decision

Maybe the original version is a savegame - with rivers and cities? If not, this could be moved to where map topics belong...

No, this is a heightmap, so it should be put in Documentation, Resources and Sites. I had not noticed this before...

I tried searching before hand, and it seems there were only talk about the maps website, but no actual maps, so I figured it should be posted in add-ons.
