Snow transition for ways on slopes
« on: October 28, 2012, 10:31:23 AM »
Slopes around the snow line are transitioned ground->snow. Ways aren't.
Could ways interpolate the summer/winter images for slopes partially covered with snow using the same slopes' lightmap?

Do you mean like blending the snow way image with the non-snow image? That should be possible indeed.

Precisely what I asked!

My mention of the slope lightmap was just a mask for blending, but any blending would be a great graphical improvement. Thank you for considering.

Either plain blending or using the texture transition images should be possible with a bit of work. One (another) thing I might look at if someone doesn't beat me to it!
