Any chance we can get a "blank" Pendolino?

Carl

I'll definitely do the Avanti one eventually, but blank is quite similar to Flowing Silk so not sure about that.

Carl

Scotrail HST and Greater Anglia Class 755, anyone?

The middle power car of the 755 is unique among the vehicles in this set.

LucidDanielYT

Hi Carl, every time I try and move the trains into pak.64, it just gives me an illegal error. Also, your Dropbox won't work. Please find me an answer thanks.

Carl

Are you using Standard or Experimental/Extended? Which dropbox links won't work?

Takamaro

Long time no see, There! :)

I draw Class 390 of original liveries. This source image format is easy to make other liveries.
If you want to other one, Please request casually!

Thanks.
Requests of pak64 addon are now accepted!

Nice work! Could you make an improved 380 and 334?
320 and 318 if you don't mind going the extra mile. 👍🏻

Would you be able to do the Class 150, 156 and 333 in the new Northern livery?

Carl

I've been on a break recently, but Northern-land is next on my list, so you can expect to see those soon(-ish).

I appreciate this has been a while, but would you be able to compile these and your Saltire 158 into .pak files please?

Would you be tasked to doing a First ScotRail liveried Class 156? (As shown): https://live.staticflickr.com/3876/14458012822_2fd9b22537_b.jpg

Additionally - A Class 303

There's a version in the most recent GB map download - does that suffice?

Edit: actually the Scotrail 158 is there but the HST and 755 are not. Will rectify this shortly.

Carl

Less quick than I was hoping, sorry. Here are the paks for Experimental. I will probably tweak the 755 further when I add the 745.

Carl

Class 333 update - one of the harder ones to do, so if you can improve on it, do have a go...

Could someone please do a Class 318/320 in Saltire?
Thanks.

Edit - For you West Coasters, I've repainted a Class 390 into the blank Virgin/Avanti livery to bring the GB map up to date.

Carl

Excellent work!

During the recent downtime, I've taken the opportunity to create a VTEC/LNER/EMR red (the livery is the same for all three) HST.

Brilliant work! If you don't mind could you refresh the 318/320 in Saltire and do a 156 in First ScotRail Barbie?

Carl

Here's the Barbie FSR 156.

Any idea where to start with making these? I'm wanting to make some old school TOC liveries (think Arriva Trains Northern, First North Western, Central Trains, GNER, Virgin, Midland Mainline, etc). I use a Mac by the way.

Carl

I'd recommend using GIMP or similar software. Start with existing png source files and you'll gradually get used to editing them. Key functions to get used to include opacity - when you're painting pixels you won't always want to use 100% opacity but rather a lower level in order to help with gradients, etc.

Cheers :) Is there an easy way of converting one colour to another?

Carl

You can use the 'fuzzy select' or 'select by color' tools to select an area of a particular colour. Then you can fill it in a different colour, or use Colors>Colorize.

Perfect, thanks.

I've given this a go and done a few liveries. Virgin Trains HST, Arriva Transpennine Class 158, and West Yorkshire Metro Class 144. I must admit I struggled with the TPE 158, getting the angle right for that big gold 'N' is not easy and it still doesn't look 100% right.
