Income goes downhill starting in 1940?

I've played a few games so often on the game. I start from the default year 1930, my income goes up and up slowly (because I do people transportation). But when the game year reaches 1940...my income steadily decreases. Is there a reason for this? That after a decade of an income increase, the game would decrease the income? I'm playing right now and my income dropped by 3,000 already.

Do you play with pak64 or pak128 pixel set?

I think you use avoid_overcrowding and/or no_routing_over_overcrowded. Then it is possible - in any pakset.

And all you can do is:

1. Change affected lines
2. Disable these options (through change of menuconf - tutorial how to do this is somewhere in forum)

I don't know about pak128, but keeping up with the speed bonus speed can be a challenge.
