I found the food factory window, the supply grain factory's brown sign (which is in front of the grain name) disappeared, and at the grain mill, the brown sign before the consumer name is also disappeared. I have more flour than the plant maxim. But for other goods, which is also above the plant maxim are OK. how to solve it, because the trunks stop loading.

Václav

Explanation of that small brown sign is already in forum. It means if there is good transported from or to that factory.

But in the beginning, it has the brown sign meaning there is a contract, but 10 years later, the brown sign disappear, how to renew the contract?

Václav

Oh, no. It is as I said. It means it does not mean there is a contract - because it is automatic issue (unless you build any factory and did not connected to any other suitable one).

I don't know what pakset you play (you did not write it - but it is irrelevant) - but in all paksets, in case of ships this is visible very well.

Look on all factories those were built in game - and watch. If you have such line where loading takes a long time (and transpportation takes a long time too), you may see that sometimes this sign is depicted - and sometimes not. If in last month any goods were delivered to that factory - or taken from that factory.

But mostly, if any factory have a lot of input goods - and transportation of more input goods is stopped, then this sign is not depicted too. And then you may do only one thing:

Wait until input goods are transported again. Or search where chain is broken.

For example (from pak96.comic - with only one input good, and a little simplified):

1. Flax farm has some productivity
2. Flax is loaded on ships (with capacity 800) and transported to clothing factories
3. Clothing factory has input capacity 1005
4. After the second delivered ship, clothing factory has overburden storage space (1600) - and flax farm stops producing flax for that clothing factory
5. Ship arrives to flax farm and loads overproduced flax - and wait until flax farm start production of flax for that clothing factory again
6. Time needed for restart of production in flax farm may be two months.
7. In these two months that small brown sign (it should be a box/crate  :)) is not depicted in dialogue of both factories - flax farm and clothing factory

I play with pak128, and two years past, the loading bay is still stuck,  no goods are loading to the trunk. the contract has been stopped, am I just waiting?

kierongreen

Maybe the factory you are delivering to is full - you have to deliver what it is producing also.

Václav

Kierongreen said what I tried to say too.

If factory has more than one input good, search if factory has all input goods.
May it be that you transport only one of them (in amount greater than sufficient) but not that other one.

Please, make screenshot and show it here.

Thanks.

1. Grain has overburden storage space - you have there 14k (14057) tons of grain - but capacity of storage space of mill is only 3k (3755).
(solution) S: Sell few trucks for grain

2. You transport flour to only one food factory (???) (the second in list of consumers - you have there brown icon)
S: May it be. Transporting of flour to other food factories may be solved later - with establishing of new lines (or destroying of useless ones in mode of public player*)

3. Food factory (factories) has (have) lesser production than mill.
S: Use high wires for enhancing of production of food factory (factories)

4. Truck stops are too small.
S: Re-build them greater. Add more loading places. And use choose sign. This will allow to load to more trucks. And trucks of one line may not need to wait until truck of other line is loaded.

5. Mill produces more than it is consumed - half of its storage space for flour is used.
S: Establish new lines - transporting of flour to other food factories.

*: Do this only if you know (if you are sure) you will not need them - or if you cannot achieve them by any kind of transportation.

And my opinion on this is that point 4 is the greatest problem. Trucks of one line block loading place to trucks of other line.

Dear Vaclav:

These two lines can you show me a picture, what is HIGH WIRE.

I found the productive capability is always over the demand, can we set something before start.

And how to make the demander accept more goods? thanks.

High wires (aka power lines) - in pak128 it is under special buildings. Use it to bring electricity to those factories - from powerplants. Beware, it is not profitable kind. But it will bring more money as a secondary effect.

This is screenshot from March of 2012.

There you can see powerlines - connecting wind powerplants with some other factories.

Production cannot be set before start. It is set when factory is built. Only fielded factories (grain farms, for example) may change its production - up or down.

It is not way to make consumer to accept more goods. But electricity (and also people and post) will enhance production - and consumer needs more goods per time. And you may transport there more goods without risk that production in supply factory (for example grain farm) will stop. Bring also people and post (if they are demanded - and I am sure that yes; only farms often don't need electricity - and sometime also post) to factory - and production will be greater too.

I built a electricity line to a coal mine, but the electrucuty isn't continuing all the time, it is just sometime the mine has electricty with a break when the power station not receive a trunk of coal..

Václav

Shaft and open coal mine need people and electricity to boost production.

Look for all powerplants - and build power lines between each other, if it is possible.
This will cause that electricity will be shared across all web. And all coal mines would have sufficient amount of electricity - and then powerplants will be well supplied with coal.

And then you will have electricity for all other factories. And don't worry if you have not much electricity in web. It may be bothering but it is not problem.
